MindXR Conference
19.11.2024 - Shaping the Future of Mental Health Care
Extended Reality (XR) Technology is rapidly evolving as a powerful approach for improving the treatment of mental disorders, but the underlying neural and psychological mechanisms remain to be fully elucidated. In addition, developing the next generation of XR assessments and interventions requires interdisciplinary collaboration between fundamental and clinical science.
To address these pressing issues, Prof. Dr. Thomas Wolbers (DZNE) and a team of leading XR researchers have created MindXR, a meeting that will bring together (i) scientists who use XR to understand psychological mechanisms, (ii) clinical XR researchers, and (iii) scientists working on Human-Computer Interaction. The meeting will provide ample opportunities for a fruitful exchange of ideas and the development of new, cross-disciplinary collaborations.
When: 25. - 27. June 2025
Where: Science Tech Space @ HHI, Salzufer 15/16, 10587 Berlin-Charlottenburg | Germany
Abstract submission: February 15th, 2025
Early bird registration: March 15th, 2025
In addition to the invited sessions, there will be unique opportunities for junior scientists to present their latest research and build up interdisciplinary networks. Plus, don’t miss the hands-on workshop, where you can learn about practical implementations of XR therapy firsthand!
