Dr. Tamar Macharadze is an Associate Professor at the Davit Tvildiani Medical University in Tbilisi, Georgia, and a visiting researcher in the Department of Systems Physiology of Learning at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology in Magdeburg. She is also an elected member of the Center for Behavioral and Brain Sciences in Magdeburg. She is the Principal Investigator of a project of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Her research area focuses on perioperative cognitive disorders.
