Prof. Bodo Vogt heads the Chair of Empirical Economic Research and Health Economics at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. The scientific work of the Empirical Economic Research team is based on the use of empirical and experimental methods in various research fields, e.g., behavioral and experimental economics, neuroeconomics, health economics, and behavioral finance. At the Institute for Social Medicine and Health System Research, Vogt's team is responsible for research and teaching in the field of health economics. The aim of the research is to conduct cost-effectiveness and cost analyses in order to demonstrate the patient-relevant benefits of innovative medical technology products and therapies.
