Dr. Renato Frischknecht is a research associate in the Department of Biology at the Chair of Animal Physiology under Prof. Dr. Brandstätter. He is engaged in research in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. His focus is on the study of cellular processes and signaling pathways, particularly in relation to immunology and the development of therapies for various diseases. A central theme of his research is understanding the mechanisms underlying the immune response, as well as the role of proteins and other molecules in these processes. Dr. Frischknecht uses modern experimental techniques to analyze the function and interaction of biomolecules.
