Prof. Michael Hoffmann heads the Section for Clinical and Experimental Sensory Physiology at the University Eye Clinic Magdeburg. His research group investigates the structure and function of the eye and the visual brain using a wide range of methods, with the aim of precise diagnostics and the application of novel therapies. Prof. Hoffmann's research focuses on understanding the physiology, pathophysiology, and plasticity of human vision and its function with regard to novel therapeutic approaches.
