Prof. Michael Hanke is the head of the Psychoinformatics team at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine – Brain and Behaviour (INM-7) at the Jülich Research Centre, where he has developed research software and computational methods for machine learning-based analysis and functional alignment of neuroimaging data. His research focuses on the interface between computer and information neuroscience and psychology. The working group develops tools and strategies to leverage interdisciplinary expertise in psychological and neuroimaging research. Hanke's projects range from tailored solutions for specific problems (e.g., PyMVPA) to versatile research platforms (e.g., NeuroDebian) and data management systems (e.g., DataLad).
