Max Happel is a professor of physiology at the MSB Medical School Berlin. His research group studies the topics of learning, attention, and decision-making in humans. Using EEG methods, they investigate the basic mechanisms of how the brain processes information, makes decisions, motivates us, and stores memory, as well as how neurological diseases can disrupt these functions. The focus is on the interaction of reward processing and attention in healthy individuals as well as in individuals diagnosed with ADHD.
