Prof. Markus Ullsperger has been Chair and Professor of Neuropsychology at the Institute of Psychology at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg since 2012, as well as Director at the Center for Behavioral Brain Sciences Magdeburg. He has been engaged for about 20 years with the structural, functional, and neurochemical aspects of cognitive control and action monitoring. In doing so, he relies on an integration of multimodal methods, particularly EEG and fMRI combined with computational modeling and pharmacological intervention, in healthy subjects and populations with neurological or psychiatric disorders.
