Prof. Dr. Jens-Max Hopf

Prof. Jens-Max Hopf is the head of the Department of Cognitive Neurophysiology and holds the Chair of Cognitive Neurophysiology at the Medical Faculty of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, as well as the head of the Visiting Research Group on Visual Attention at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology in Magdeburg. The focus of his interest is the study of mechanisms of attentional orientation in the human visual cortex. For this purpose, a number of non-invasive neuroimaging methods are used, such as electromagnetic recordings (MEG/EEG) as well as functional MRI.
