Prof. Dr. Constanze Seidenbecher

Prof. Constanze Seidenbecher is a molecular neuroscientist and, together with Dr. Dr. Björn Schott, heads the Synapse-Brain-Cognition group at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology. Her research focuses on synaptic molecules and the perisynaptic extracellular matrix of the brain as determinants of neuronal and homeostatic plasticity. She is a Council Member of the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN) and Chair of the ISN Career Development Committee as well as Senior Editor for the Journal of Neurochemistry.
