8th International Symposium on Neuroprotection and Neurorepair
The International Symposium on Neuroprotection and Neurorepair (ISNN) focuses on the neurovascular pathophysiology of cerebral ischemia and dementia. This meeting series was founded in 1998 by Klaus Reymann and Georg Reiser. Meanwhile, this series has gained worldwide recognition for current trends in basic, applied, and clinical research.
While initially the focus was on pharmacology and stem cell repair, the current focus is more on neurovascular aspects of neurodegeneration after stroke and Alzheimer’s dementia, as well as the imaging techniques required for this. The meeting is known as an excellent platform for discussions between young and experienced researchers and for its conversations at the 'round table'.
