Funding Science Conventions
3rd International Resting State and Brain Connectivity Symposium
The conference series “Resting State” was initiated in 2008 by neuroscientists in Magdeburg to bring together scientists with a research focus on resting-state fMRI. Since then, the conference series has been held every two years in rotation with other international locations (Magdeburg 2008; Milwaukee 2010; Magdeburg 2012; Boston/Cambridge Mass. 2014; Vienna 2016; Montreal 2018) and offers, in addition to cutting-edge scientific contributions on the physical and physiological origins of resting-state fluctuations, exchanges on current developments in data analysis, as well as insights into the physiological and medical applicability.
The focus of the conference series is on active communication and discussion of controversial aspects, with the aim of advancing the further development of the research field. Among other things, the current discussion includes the development of application-oriented methods, the optimization of data acquisition, and the identification of specific advantages and disadvantages of certain analysis methods.
